Giveaway! (My first!)

Maybe it’s the dork in me, but there’s something about business cards (and, hell, office supplies in general, for that matter) that I love. I know there are lots of you out there who agree with me.

We can stand for hours in the pen aisle at the store, and school supply shopping when we were younger were the! best! (The fresh notebooks! The clean folders! YES MOM I DO TOO NEED PAPER CLIPS!)

Truth is, it’s still very easy for me to get sidetracked in the office supply section. Sometimes my husband has to do everything short of actually picking me up and carrying me away, just to get me to leave. I can’t help it.

Don’t even get me started on greeting cards. I spend hours designing cards for different occasions online (Christmas! Baby announcements! Wee!), most of which I never actually order because, well, the money. (Insert rant about how shitty the economy is here.)

So, it’s knowing that I’m not alone in my love for office supplies/printed goods (and hatred of being broke) that made me jump at the opportunity to host this giveaway. See below for details!

GIVEAWAY – DEADLINE EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 19, 2011

The details: Two winners will win a $25 promo code to overnightprints.com.

To enter: Leave a comment on this post. Tell me what you’d do with the $25 promo code, your plans for Thanksgiving (or, if it’s after Thanksgiving… what you did for the holiday), which TV show I should add to my Netflix queue… anything. Just comment! (One entry per person – sorry, I’m too lazy to count extra entries for tweets, blog posts, etc.) Make sure I have a good email address to notify you if you won!

Entry deadline is Sunday, November 27, Monday, December 19, 2011, at midnight my time – that’s here on the West Coast. I’ll choose the two winners using random.org and announce it sometime Monday, November 28 (unless, you know, I’m in labor or something. Then I’ll announce it wheneverthehellIgetaroundtoit).

This post was brought to you by overnightprints.com, a green printing company from whom you can get premium business cards. You can also find greeting cards, postcards and other stationary supplies here.

I will give the promo code to my brother who is starting his own business.
I spent this Thanksgiving with my side of the family, and my Wife’s younger siblings are spending the night at our house.
You should add Modern Family to the queue.

    That’s everything,… right? 🙂

I would probably use it toward wedding related stuff. We just finally decided on a location and date so I’m already brainstorming on savethedate cards, and even thankyou cards. invitation ideas still to come!

    I think I would print postcards! 🙂

Thanksgiving was spent party-hopping. I went to three different feasts. Good times, as usual!
